The Blue-Footed Booby is a seabird found along the Pacific coast of Central and South America. It is easily recognizable by its striking blue feet, which are used in courtship displays. These birds have brown and white plumage, with a yellowish beak. A commonly known fact about the Blue-Footed Booby is that it is an excellent fisherman, diving from great heights to catch its prey. A fun fact about these birds is that their name "booby" comes from the Spanish word "bobo," meaning foolish, due to their clumsy behavior on land.
